Spotlight on Threads Counselling

Lesley Brackenridge – Counsellor and Supervisor has created a delightful, welcoming studio space within Mile End Mill.  The room is fairly unique with the glass brick walls and of course you could just sit all day in those comfy chairs.  Even the colours are uplifting when you walk in!

We sat down with her to find out more information about her business.

Tell us about yourself and what you offer?

I work in private practice as a person-centred counsellor and supervisor at Threads Counselling in Paisley, offering short-term and long-term counselling & supervision. With over 15 years’ experience as a counsellor, a background in general and psychiatric nursing and 11+ years’ experience working for an EAP as counsellor and manager, I find the breadth of experience I have gained allows me to work alongside clients, with a wide range of issues – supporting and empowering them to find their best way forward from their current difficulties or life challenges to live a more fulfilling life.

Why did you decide to work from Abbey Mill Business Centre?

I looked at the various business centres in Paisley and decided on Abbey Mill for several reasons; the reception area is very impressive, my clients expect a professional environment, the security is a big bonus and the car parking is perfect for myself and my clients.  When you walk into Mile End Mill you always get a friendly welcome from reception and as a tenant I feel we are kept updated on what is happening within the building.
