Old Embroidery Mill

Our oldest surviving mill is bright, charming, warm and inviting. A popular place for starter offices, it offers plenty of flexibility to grow.

We have a real soft spot for the Old Embroidery Mill. It’s our oldest surviving mill and sits in the centre of the Abbey Mill site. Perfectly formed original sash windows, polished Canadian Maple floors and high ceilings provide bright offices and clean, classic decor. It’s charming, warm and inviting.

Constructed in 1840 as a shawl factory, this B listed, fully-refurbished building is now home to over 30 tenants in over 70 offices. Some of them have been with us since our conversion in the 1980s.

Offering a more intimate environment than its neighbouring buildings, the Old Embroidery Mill is a popular place for starter offices and there’s plenty of flexibility to grow.

“We couldn’t have won this contract or grown our business over the last 12 months without the help of the team at Abbey Mill Business Centre. The support we have received from the team has been tremendous and we would now recommend the centre as a hub for all Paisley businesses looking to take their organisation to the next level.” – Engage Marketing & Communications
